2 people have nurtured the club:VERITY WELCH has little understanding about what true comedy is all about, but she knows she likes it and she lives it! Life is not a dress rehearsal so Verity exists with perpetual first night nerves. A graduate from the school of hard knockers, wine, fags and cherry blossom. Slightly odd, rather disturbing, deluded and eager to please. Verity is forever young and always takes to the stage with an empty head and a half full glass ? which isn?t appropriate for woman of her age and status.Hackney Empire New Act of Year finalist 2002. PARAMOUNT COMEDYPAUL RICKETTS was initially a musician who in the late 1980's and early 1990's recorded albums and singles and performed in the UK and Europe.
