Annual Blessing of the Lifeboat and Crew Sunday 20th July 2008 Church service held in the boathouse hosted by Lifeboat Caplin Judith Greives starting at 3.00 pm.

Newbiggin Lifeboat Day Sunday 27th July 2008 Displays on and off the water fair rides and music. starting at 1.30pm
