History - Red&White

I am gradually preparing a history of Red & White from inception as a series of associated operators in South Wales and the Forest of Dean, through its period as a large independently owned group covering much of South Wales and parts of southern England. The history continues as a nationalised company, as a constituent of National Welsh, privatisation and eventually as a component of the Stagecoach group. Much of the information has been taken from the articles published in Buses Illustrated in the 1960s and from the publications and newssheets of the PSV Circle.,
