OVER THE LAST three & a half years London based UP THE ARTS has brought its wilfully idiosyncratic approach to comedy ? from offering our audience heckling workshops to booking Sweden?s only trumpet playing dog. We?ve organised free and paying gigs in amphitheatres, wine museums, cinemas, cellar bars and pubs offering the best in stand-up, sketch, character, physical, poetry, music and film comedy. Plus organising comedy courses and an ironic New Talent Competition where after three years an overall winner is yet to be announced. We?ve booked some of the UK?s most respected, unknown, traditional, original, oldest (71 years) and youngest (15 years) comics - in short we believe in comedy by all means.

Starting from October 9th 2008 see the best comics and the hottest up and comers on the circuit, Thursday shows (fortnightly) @ The Queen Boadicea, Clerkenwell. Nearest tube: Angel Turn left on exiting Angel tube, cross junction and walk 400 metres to The Queen Boadicea.
