Welcome to my new and improved website!What is it all about? Well let me tell ya. Since 2002, I have participated in an annual sponsored fun run to raise money for The Rutger Hauer Starfish Foundation. This Charity was set up by the dutch actor in 2000 in order to support HIV+ pregnant women and children, predominantly on the caribbean islands of Turks and Caicos. For more information about this non-profit organisation please visit their amazing official website. Also you can find all you need to know about Rutger Hauer at his fantastic official website. Links for both of these sites can be found here, not surprisingly on my links page LOL.I thought it would be a nice idea to keep a visual history of my deeds, so here it is! Albeit still in need of a title ;) The following page focuses on the last fun run I did. I also hope you enjoy cruising through my site, and would be thrilled if you signed my moderated guestbook. All comments, suggestions, thoughts and feedback will be useful and greatly appreciated. I will try to keep this site fresh with updates, changes, additions,improvements, etc. I hope not to give the impression of being a superfit athletic type as that couldn't be further from the truth LOL.I remember when AIDS first became 'known' way back in the early 80's and vividly recall a series of scary black and white awareness commercials which were broadcast on our screens voiced by actor John hurt. Also the first famous case being that of Rock Hudson. Anyway, thats what I often think back to as putting this particular bee in my bonnet. Then all of a sudden my favourite actor of whom I've been a fan of for abit longer than the early 80s, lol, decides to set up an organisation to help in the campaign against AIDS. I'm more than happy with the coincidence. I hope you enjoy this catalogue of my races as much as I am working on it, just doing my bit. See you at the finish line..........Take care....Sarah xxx
