Can I thank all the many people that attended Mondays meeting, and I am sure that I also speak for the rest of the steering committee members.
It was very heartening to see so many of you there, and see the swell of support in opposing the erection of these carbuncles in the vicinity of our beautiful village. Can I also thank the many volunteers who willingly put their names forward to assist in the fight. These small or large tokens of support make our life that much easier and enable us to spend the time searching and researching information that could expose the chink in the armour of the prospective developers. May I assure you all that the fight is not over yet, and with your help and assistance we will make every effort to halt this development and show the authorities (both locally and centrally) that this area is not to be seen as a easy touch for these developers who just seem to want to rape our beautiful countryside for the sake of being able to line their own pockets with profits and Government subsides.
