Newbiggin Lifeboat Blessing 2008 An annual event held on the sunday before Lifeboat day at Newbiggin, The meeting is held inside the boathouse and is hosted by Lifeboat Chaplin Judith Grieve, representatives and choirs from all the local churches are invited to take part in the blessing by the Lifeboat Chaplin of both Lifeboat and Crew.
