EXMOUTH AND SURROUNDING AREA Whatever time of year or whatever your age Exmouth has plenty to offer. The beach is a joy to visit and a photographers' paradise. The 2 mile promenade stretches to Orcombe Point providing a level walk with wonderful views and plenty of seats and beach cafes en route.The local walking is spectacular and well way marked as Exmouth lies on the South-West Coast Path. Stroll along the Jurassic coast, up the estuary to pretty Lympstone or take a ferry or water taxi to fun packed Dawlish Warren beach and nature reserve. At the harbour take a boat trip around the estuary or along the coast with Stuart Line Cruises.Exmouth offers a wide variety of shopping, entertainment, sports, history and many lovely areas in which to just sit and admire views. The town is renowned for its floral displays and parks or you can just enjoy time on our front garden bench!The Exe estuary is a two minute walk from New Moorings and offers a fascinating expanse of water that draws bird watchers, artists, photographers, ramblers, sailors and water sports enthusiasts.The beautiful city of Exeter, the charming resorts of Sidmouth, Dawlish and Teignmouth, East Devon moorland and the unique habitat of Dartmoor are but a short distance away.
