1851 & 1886 Ordnance Survey These Are Data CDs.. to be used only on a PC.. CDs are nicely presented in a case with colour picture covers.Gainsborough Maps 1851 & 1886.This cd contains all the info from the Gainsborough ordnance survey maps from 1851 & 1886 (both on same cd) they are scanned as adobe pdf file and as jpegs, so you can print or view them as you like. The detail is fantastic, this is ideal if you often wondered where your ancestors lived in the town and the places have now disappeared.Because of the rarity of the 1851 maps,they have been scanned from A3 copies, but the 1886 Maps Scans are taken from the original Maps.Due to the size being A0, these have been scanned in segments using an A3 scanner.Each Map is in Adobe PDF format as a whole document and also as seperate JPEG files
